Question 1

How long does setup take?

Accepted Answer

Setup involves signing in with Discord, connecting your Nitrado account, selecting your DayZ server, and configuring Discord channels in Setup. Allow time to check permissions and confirm an in-game event reaches your chosen feed. Completion time depends on your configuration, log availability, and provider responses.

Question 2

Do I need to host anything?

Accepted Answer

No. Reaper Killfeed runs as a hosted dashboard plus Discord bot. You bring a Nitrado server and a Discord guild — we handle the infrastructure.

Question 3

Do I need coding skills?

Accepted Answer

You don't need to write code for standard setup. Use the dashboard and Discord commands to connect Nitrado and configure the available features. Advanced DayZ file editing may require familiarity with the game's configuration files; available controls depend on your plan and permissions.

Question 4

Which platforms does REAPER support?

Accepted Answer

REAPER supports Nitrado-hosted DayZ servers on PC, Xbox, PlayStation, and Nintendo Switch 2. Available data and features depend on your plan, platform, and server logs. A supported platform does not mean every detection or server-file operation is available on every server.

Question 5

Can I run multiple servers across maps?

Accepted Answer

Yes. You can manage servers across maps such as Chernarus, Livonia, and Sakhal within one Discord community, with server-specific data and controls. Free allows one active server, Pro allows up to three, and Elite has no plan-imposed server cap. Map-specific tools also depend on supported map data.

Question 6

How fast is the killfeed?

Accepted Answer

REAPER polls Nitrado logs on a configurable interval, with a five-second default and minimum. That interval is not an end-to-end delivery guarantee: log availability, account load, provider rate limits, processing, and Discord delivery can add delays. There is no guaranteed under-10-second delivery time.

Question 7

Why are timestamps in my local time on Discord?

Accepted Answer

We use Discord's native <t:UNIX:T> formatting, which renders the time in each viewer's local timezone automatically. Your players in Berlin and your admins in Seattle see the same event in their own clock.

Question 8

Can I customize the feed embeds?

Accepted Answer

Feed customization is available on Pro and Elite; Free uses the default presentation. Use the available settings to adjust supported embed colors, branding, and feed formatting. Options and previews vary by feed or panel, so check its editor rather than assuming every embed supports the same overrides.

Question 9

Is everything audited?

Accepted Answer

REAPER records audit entries for supported administrative and automated actions, including moderation, settings changes, and operational workflows. Authorized staff can review the available audit history. This is not a guarantee that every action is captured or that records are permanently immutable: audit storage is subject to retention and cleanup.

Question 10

How does reputation work?

Accepted Answer

Reputation is an Elite feature for linked Discord members. Community-wide automated rewards can award points for configured activities, while some reputation records and operational shields are server-specific. Which rewards are enabled depends on your settings. Reputation does not automatically make every warning or ban apply across all servers; moderation has its own scope and enforcement settings.

Question 11

Who can see what?

Accepted Answer

Access depends on your community membership, configured owner/admin/moderator roles, server scope, and plan. Members have member-facing views such as their own linked information and permitted public stats; private profiles are not public. Administrative data and actions require the relevant permissions within the selected community.

Question 12

Do I need a separate dashboard login?

Accepted Answer

No separate dashboard password is needed: sign in with Discord. Community membership and configured roles determine access, alongside server ownership and plan requirements. Role changes can take time to appear because permission lookups are cached; promotion or revocation is not guaranteed to be instant.

Question 13

What does the bot post to my server?

Accepted Answer

REAPER can publish configured gameplay feeds and notifications such as kills, builds, connections, moderation, tickets, and scheduled events. Available feeds depend on your plan and enabled features. Free includes Connections and a choice of Killfeed or BuildFeed, not both. Choose destinations in Setup and the relevant feature settings; delivery requires suitable bot permissions.

Question 14

Where is my data stored?

Accepted Answer

Operational records and configuration are stored in PostgreSQL, with access scoped by community and server. Files and archives may use object storage. Nitrado credentials are stored as needed to operate the integration. See the Privacy Policy for the published details on data processing, retention, and security.

Question 15

What if the bot goes down?

Accepted Answer

The hosted API and Discord bot run on a Reserved VM, not an autoscaling deployment. Single-instance locks, health monitoring, and retry/idempotency safeguards help recovery, but downtime can delay feeds and actions. Delivery recovery depends on the workflow and available logs; uninterrupted service, complete catch-up, and advance notification are not guaranteed. Check the Status page and contact support if a problem persists.

Question 16

How much does REAPER cost?

Accepted Answer

REAPER has Free, Pro, and Elite plans for a Discord community. Free has no subscription time limit and includes one active server, basic stats and map access, seven days of feed/event history, and the Killfeed-or-BuildFeed choice alongside Connections. Core setup, server control, bans, and whitelist management are Free. Pro supports up to three active servers and adds customization, additional feeds, the moderation suite, economy, and basic automation. Elite has no plan-imposed server cap and adds advanced systems such as investigation, factions, quests, achievements, reputation, and advanced automation. A community subscription does not remove feature or permission requirements. See the Pricing page and checkout for current prices and plan details.

Question 17

Is there a money-back guarantee?

Accepted Answer

The Terms do not provide a general 30-day money-back guarantee. They state that cancellation stops future renewals but does not refund the current billing period unless required by applicable law, and that purchases are otherwise non-refundable. Review the Terms and checkout information before paying. You can start on Free without a payment.
